Advocate Training: 36 Volunteers Ready to Walk With Families

This fall, The Neighborhood Bridge wrapped up its final Advocate training sessions for 2025. The Bridge Breakfast and Bridge Bearers Session I were held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, followed by Bridge Bearers Session II on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in the newly finished Adult Education classroom at the Bridge Center.

We are proud to share that a total of 36 Advocates completed training in 2025. These volunteers are now prepared to walk alongside families in our partner schools, helping them navigate housing, employment, health care, and other critical needs.

Our next round of Advocate training will take place in February 2026, as we continue to build a strong network of support for families in Austin and Oak Park.
