Cars of Hope Helps Families in Need of a Vehicle
The Neighborhood Bridge is excited to announce a new partnership with local nonprofit, Cars of Hope, which provides vehicles to families facing financial hardship.
Cars of Hope accepts donations of used cars, SUVs, and trucks in any condition. Volunteers then repair and transform them into reliable vehicles for families in need. If the vehicle cannot be repaired, or repairs are too costly, it is sold and the money is used to repair other vehicles.
This partnership allows The Neighborhood Bridge to apply for and provide vehicles to families at partner schools who have fallen on hard times.
But we need your help. Here’s how:
Donate your used vehicle
By donating your used vehicle to Cars of Hope, you help provide families at our partner schools with reliable transportation to get to work, access healthcare, and provide for their children.
All vehicles accepted
Cars of Hope accepts all cars, SUVs, minivans, and trucks in any condition, whether running or not. They also accept motorcycles, RVs, boats, trailers, mobile homes, jet skis, buses, and snowmobiles.
Fast, free pickup and a tax deduction
Cars of Hope will tow away your vehicle for free within a week, usually sooner. They also provide an official tax receipt based on how they plan to use your car.
Donated vehicles provide a lifeline for a family in need.
