Kenna MacKinnon
Kenna MacKinnon (Secretary of Corporation, Board of Directors Member) has been an Oak Park resident and active St. Giles Parish community member for over twenty years. Kenna has devoted her efforts to leadership of non-profit organization boards, real estate, and community development. She has served on the Board of Directors for Hephzibah Children’s Association for fifteen years as well as the Hephzibah Trust Board. Kenna holds leadership roles on parent boards for both St. Giles Elementary School and Fenwick High School, through which she learned of the work at St. Catherine-St Lucy Parish and became engaged with the effort to develop a social services outreach ministry to the Austin community. In her professional career, Kenna develops affordable housing and is currently working with Reclaiming Chicago NFP (an initiative of United Power for Action and Justice) to build affordable homes in four of Chicago’s South and West side neighborhoods. Kenna holds a Master’s in Public Policy and Urban Planning from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
