Dan Doody
Dan Doody (President of Corporation, Board of Directors Member) is a lifelong Oak Parker, from the second generation of a four-generation family of Ascension parish (now Ascension-St. Edmund). Just retired after a 45-year career in medical publishing, Dan started up two successful medical publishing companies, launching one 31 years ago and the other 20 years ago. He began volunteering at St. Catherine-St. Lucy School in 2017 with the goal to bring much needed human and financial resources from the community to advance the mission of the school. He currently serves as the school’s Advancement Director. Because of his first-hand knowledge of the challenging circumstances most of the school families face, he volunteered to co-lead the study looking into the feasibility of repurposing the rectory to offer human services that could help the families the most.
